About lino printing: Lino printing is a relief printmaking technique where a design is carved into a linoleum block using sharp tools. The carved-away areas are left un-inked, and ink is applied to the remaining raised surface. Paper is then pressed onto the inked block to create a print, with the carved areas printing as white and the raised areas as ink.
